Nikon D500 Problems
Download Nikon D500 Camera Firmware 1.11 for Mac OS (Digital Camera / Webcam / Camcorder). Nikon d500 free download - Nikon Transfer, Nikon PictureProject, Nikon ViewNX 2, and many more programs. Using this on a Mac with the latest OS X version the Nikon Transfer program usually fails to copy all the files across, sometimes leave 3 behind and other times stopping 20% of the way.
My photos won't upload to my Mac from my Nikon?
Added (1). My photos used to simply upload when my camera was connected. Now they no longer do and I'm clueless as to why. If I use another computer and the same method it works, but not with my Mac. Any ideas?

Are the photos in RAW or JPEG. Some older Apple software has problems with dealing with RAW files.
If their JPEGs, disconnect the camera from the computer. https://everbu300.weebly.com/blog/terraria-13-download-free-mac. Then shut the computer down and restart it. Do a complete shutdown and reset and not just a restart as they are different. Then try to download the photo from the camera.
If that doesn't work, then uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the camera.

I would strongly suggest getting a USB3.0 card reader because they have much less problems than using the camera, and they can be much faster too. If you have a current Apple computer, it probably has USB3.0 which is 10x faster than USB2.0. USB2.0 is typically type of connection found in cameras. If your computer does not have a USB3.0 port, then that's okay because all USB products are backwards compatible, meaning a USB3.0 device will work when plugged into any USB port, regardless of version.

Here is the best idea.
Remove the memory card from your camera and insert it into the card reader on your Apple computer. If your computer does not have a card reader, you can buy a USB 3.0 card reader and use it.
This is the way those of us who have been shooting with digital cameras for over a decade.
There are some very important things you can do if you use this process of copying image files from your memory card to a computer.
* you can create new file folders named for the subject/location and date
* copying the image files is usually faster then trying to copy using a USB cord attached from your camera to computer
* connections between cameras and computers using the provided cord can be iffy since the mini USB connections on cameras are the weakest link.
